The surviving niece(s)/nephew(s) of the deceased are entitled to share in the estate. An application should be made by one or more of the niece(s)/nephew(s). I am a surviving [niece/nephew] of the deceased. The deceased left no spouse, domestic partner, registered caring partner, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, parents or siblings that survived the deceased by 30 days or more. Therefore, I along with the other surviving nieces and nephews or the deceased are equally entitled to share in the estate.
I am the only surviving [niece/nephew] of the deceased. The deceased left no spouse, domestic partner, registered caring partner, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, parents, siblings or other nieces/nephews that survived the deceased by 30 days or more. Therefore, I am solely entitled to share in the estate.
