Watch the Common Law seminar live via webcast from 8.30am on Thursday 15 November 2018.

On Thursday, 15 November 2018 the Supreme and County Courts are co-hosting a free morning seminar entitled, ‘Paperless trials and in-court technology’.

For those unable to attend, the seminar will be live-streamed and available to view on-demand on the County Court’s website from 8.30am on Thursday 15 November.

Justice John Dixon, Principal Judge of the Supreme Court’s Common Law Division and Judge Philip Misso, Judge-in-Charge of the County Court's Common Law Division, will chair a panel of speakers discussing the use of technology in trials.

The panel includes Judge Andrea Tsalamandris of the County Court and Ms Julia Frederico of the Victorian Bar, both enthusiastic proponents of new technology in trials. Both will speak about their experiences and the benefits of going paperless in the courtroom.

The seminar is primarily aimed at newer members of the profession. More experienced practitioners wishing to update their knowledge are also encouraged to attend/watch.
