A welcome ceremony for the Honourable Justice Rowena Orr will be held on 21 May 2024 at 9.15am.
Justice Rowena Orr commenced as a judge in the Court of Appeal on 18 April 2024.
A welcome ceremony will be held at 9.15am for her Honour on Tuesday 21 May 2024. The ceremony will take place in the Banco Court and will be live streamed.
The Court congratulates Justice Orr on her appointment to the Supreme Court.
The Court continues to manage the logistics of providing a COVIDSafe environment for all Court users.
Masks are recommended to be worn (although are not compulsory) throughout the event proceedings and, along with hand sanitiser, are available to visitors to the Court.
Please do not attend if you:
- have tested positive for COVID-19 within five days of the ceremony
- have symptoms of COVID-19, cold or flu, or
- are a close contact.
