Chief Justice addresses VWL's 20th Anniversary Celebration.
Victorian Women Lawyers Patron and Chief Justice Marilyn Warren marked the achievements of women in the legal profession at VWL's 20th anniversary celebration on Thursday 20 October 2016.
Her Honour reflected on how the representation of women in the law has changed over 20 years. Law schools now graduate over 60 per cent women; the Bar Readers' course this year enrolled more women than men for the first time and there are more women in higher positions including three heads of jurisdiction in Victoria.
