The Court is improving how to submit requests to search for applications and caveats filed with the Probate Office.

From 1 April 2025, on RedCrest-Probate there will be a new section - My File Searches. Here you will be able to:

  • complete an online form to submit your request
  • pay the fee
  • view and download documents on an application or caveat (if approved by the Probate Office).

RedCrest-Probate will be offline from 5pm on Monday 31 March 2025 to 8am on Tuesday 1 April 2025 to implement the new functionality. No new advertisements, applications or filings can be filed during the outage.

These features are a result of user feedback, showing the Court’s commitment to continuous improvement.

There will be a series of smaller upgrades to RedCrest-Probate over the upcoming months. These will enhance your experience of:

  • submitting applications and caveats
  • depositing wills
  • filing documents on existing applications.

We will share details of further upgrades on the RedCrest-Probate login page.
