Proposed changes to civil fees. The Supreme Court of Victoria’s civil fee regulations are set to expire on 1 October 2018.

The Supreme Court of Victoria’s civil fee regulations are set to expire on 1 October 2018.

The Government proposes to introduce new civil fees for the Court and on 22 June 2018 the Attorney-General the Hon Martin Pakula MP, issued a Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) containing the Proposed Fee Regulations. 

The RIS contains information about the Proposed Fees Regulations and the expected impacts.

You may view the RIS by visiting the Engage Victoria website at engage.vic.gov.au.

Public comments and submissions on the proposed Regulations are invited in response to the information provided in the RIS.  All comments and submissions must be in writing and should be uploaded on the Engage Victoria website.  Alternatively, hard copy submissions may be posted to:

The closing date for submissions is 3 August 2018.
