Justice Lesley Taylor has sentenced Peter Pavlis to 17 years’ imprisonment with a non-parole period of 12 years for the murder of Jennifer Borchardt on 25 July 2017, “You betrayed her trust, loyalty and affection in the most cruel way by brutally and needlessly ending her life,” Justice Taylor said.
