The Court welcomes the appointment of two new judicial officers
Mr Stephen O’Meara QC and Mr Richard Attiwill QC have been appointed as judges of the Supreme Court of Victoria today, bringing a combined total of more than 50 years’ legal experience.
Justice Attiwill joins the Commercial Court, after being appointed Senior Counsel in 2013. Justice O’Meara joins the Common Law Division, after being appointed Senior Counsel in 2011.
The Court congratulates and welcomes the newly appointed judges.
