Parties announce they have reached agreement. Court must approve settlement.
The Manus Island class action trial - Majid Karami Kamasaee v Commonwealth of Australia & Ors - has been vacated. The parties announced to Justice McDonald this morning that they had reached agreement. The settlement terms will now need to be approved by the Court, at a date to be fixed.
