A ceremonial sitting of the Supreme Court honouring First Nations people will be held on 22 October at 9.15am.
Members of the profession and the public are invited to watch the ceremony via livestream. Please note, in-person attendance at the ceremony is by invitation only.
The sitting will highlight the contributions made by Elders, First Nations barristers, solicitors, judicial officers and court staff. The Court acknowledges the Dhumba Murmuk Djerring Unit within Court Services Victoria for their support in helping develop the event.
A recording will be available to watch on the Court’s website shortly afterwards.
