From 2 July 2018, all documents for Common Law, Commercial Court and Costs Court matters will be required to be electronically filed using the RedCrest electronic filing platform.

RedCrest is the Supreme Court of Victoria's electronic filing system currently used for judge-managed matters filed in the Commercial Court.

The CITEC platform currently used for electronic filing of Common Law, Costs Court and some Commercial Court matters will be inaccessible after 4pm on Friday 29 June 2018.

Access to electronic filing in RedCrest for these matters will commence on Monday 2 July 2018.

The benefits of RedCrest include:

  • No additional fees associated with filing a document (beyond the regulated fee for the document being lodged)

  • All payments made online

  • The ability to view electronically lodged and filed documents through a personal, secure portal.

Information sessions about RedCrest will be conducted at the Supreme Court throughout May and June.

It is strongly recommended that Court users attend these sessions to familiarise themselves with RedCrest and its features.

To register your interest in these sessions, please email erqperfg@fhcpbheg.ivp.tbi.nhua.vog.civ.truocpus@tsercder .

Information about amended rules and practice notes will be available on the Supreme Court website in the coming weeks.
