Electronic filing is available at all times, and services supporting urgent matters and applications will continue as usual (see the urgent applications page for further details).

The public entrance at 436 Lonsdale Street will remain open throughout the holiday period. During this time, the Principal Registry, Probate Office, and Court of Appeal Registry will remain open for in-person enquiries. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by contacting the Registry or Probate Office by telephone on 8600 2000.
All in-person enquiries for the Commercial Court Registry should be made at the Principal Registry at Level 2, 436 Lonsdale Street.
Temporary closures
Public entrances
From 29 December 2020 to 8 January 2021, the following public entrances will be closed:
• 450 Little Bourke Street (Old High Court building)
• 485 Lonsdale Street (Trial Division)
These entrances will reopen on Monday 11 January 2021.
Supreme Court Library
The Supreme Court Library continues to be closed. The Law Library of Victoria services are digital and accessible from the LLV website.
Public holidays
During the holiday and New Year period the Court will be closed on the following public holidays:

• Friday 1 January 2021
