Appointment of Justice Kidd to the Court of Appeal

The Chief Judge of the County Court of Victoria, Peter Kidd, has been appointed as a judge of the Court of Appeal, effective 28 April 2025.

Justice Kidd was appointed Chief Judge of the County Court of Victoria in September 2015.

Justice Kidd first signed the Victoria Bar roll in 1995 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2011. He served as Crown Prosecutor and Senior Crown Prosecutor from 2009 to 2015.
