Supreme Court (Chapter V Insolvency and Powers of Judicial Registrars Further Amendment) Rules 2018 will commence on 1 June 2018.
The Rules have application to insolvency proceedings, following the enactment of the Insolvency Law Reform Act 2016 of the Commonwealth.
They also provide for additional powers of judicial registrars in corporations proceedings. See in particular new Rule 39 which amends Schedule 2A to the existing Rules which sets out the powers of judicial registrars.
