Addressing the Australian Bar Association at the Victorian Bar 2016 National Conference in Melbourne on 27 October 2016, Chief Justice Marilyn Warren reflected on the role of specialist lists; judicial mediation and the developments in the Court in reducing time for appeals.
Chief Justice Warren also raised the prospect of an Australian Court of Appeal and the opportunity to establish an international Commercial Court of Australia.
