Katherine Lorenz and Natalie Burgess have been appointed judicial registrars of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Judicial Registrar Lorenz joins the Court from the Coroners Court following her appointment in 2021. She brings a wealth of experience as a former Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Bar and from executive roles at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Health and as Special Counsel.

Judicial Registrar Lorenz will join the Court’s Common Law team from today.

Judicial Registrar Burgess has spent the past seven years specialising in construction law and is currently a Senior Associate at Maddocks. She also brings a decade of experience in management and administration, including with the Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne.

Judicial Registrar Burgess will join the Court, effective 14 October 2024.

The Court warmly welcomes and congratulates Judicial Registrars Lorenz and Burgess on their appointments.
